Why am I not surprised? Though isn't Dull Candy a rip-off of... The Gaga cover reminded me of the Donna Summer pose from her "I Feel Love" single art.

I saw another "comparison" of this cover and Copionna's hairstyle from secret project. So it's not only about Gaga's music but anything she does. she'll be compared with Unoriginaldonna constantly. And as many Madonna's fans exist, the same amount of different comparisons there will be.

Please read the latest post in the Cher and Madonna thread as it has a post about how Cher doesn't think Gaga is ripping off Madonna. I didn't feel like double pasting it.

I wouldnt want her to bring this up again but her new song Do What U Want somewhat addresses these claims. Lady Gaga blasts critics, Madonna comparisons on Twitter- [*]Lady Gaga has blasted critics who compare her to Madonna in a series of tweets.
The singer, who will release her new album ARTPOP next month, posted the messages to her over 40 million Twitter followers on Sunday (October 20), addressing not only the Madonna controversy but also reports of her alleged drug abuse and rumors that she is an "hermaphrodite".
Addressing comparisons between her 'Born This Way' aesthetic and a picture of Madonna wearing a high ponytail in the '90s, Gaga tweeted: "LADY GAGA IS A REDUCTIVE MADONNA COPY! SHE'S OVER NOW! #WriteWhatUWant #SayWhatUWantBoutMe #ImNotSorry."
Gaga also posted a 2012 interview with Cynthia McFadden in which Madonna described her work as "reductive", adding: "I don't need anybody's permission to be remembered. I will be. Whether they like it or not."
Finally, she addressed her recent chart feud with Katy Perry, citing criticisms for her single 'Applause' not debuting at number one like Perry's 'Roar'.
The singer wrote: "... #UWontUseMyMind I write for the music not the charts."
[/ul] The stans are already posting in the article their usual nonsense:

Madonna stans are pissed off because Gaga apparently copied a quote from Madonna. Lady Gaga among 'Glamour' magazine's Women of the YearDELUSION ALERT AHEAD!! Gaga isn't imitating Madonna. I do think there is the possibility of there being 2 or 3 things Gaga "ripped off" from Madonna, but Madonna created nothing to begin with and Gaga's style is nothing like Madonna's. As if Madonna isn't in it for the money? When has Madonna ever changed the world? Is he referring to her "inspiring" pop stars to act like sluts on stage to sell records and tour tickets? Madonna honest and sincere? Is it honest to lie about your childhood? It is honest to lie about building schools in Malawi and actually doing nothing? Is it honest to STEAL and PLAGIARIZE the works of others and pass it off as your own? She is fake. Compare Ray of Lies to MDNA. She said she was so spiritual and "changed" in one album and claimed that she wouldn't do slutty things on stage ever again. Here we are. 15 years later and it turned out she is still acting like a slut on stage. That isn't sincere. That just shows she's fake. Fake, fake, FAKE! Not only are her "re-inventions" rip-offs, they show that she needs to create a new persona to make herself deeper and smarter. EDIT: Threads about Madonna's greediness.
- Charities and Madonna (She basically donates money to herself via the Kabbalah Centre; small donations to AIDS research; no money to Malawi or other organizations). - Madonna and money. (Steals from poor athletes/given stadium for free; $300 MDNA Tour tickets; overpriced coffee table book = more money). - Justify My Lies (Calculated controversy to release music video VHS and earn more money).

Gaga's new song doesnt sound like Papa Dont Steal. At all. Rolling Stone Lady Gaga "Venus" Song Review- The summit of beauty and love – and Gaga was her name. Her space-disco ode to the planet of se.x sounds even more like Madonna than you'd expect, especially "Papa Don't Preach," chanting, "Goddess of love, take me to your leader!" But give Gaga credit for restraint: She waits three whole minutes for the Uranus joke.

OMG Who's that idiot who wrote this? The only song that Gaga sampled and copied lyrics from is this: But Moldonna's delusions still believe Gaga copied from this untalented shit with no gram of originality.

Lol. Are the Madgestans that desperate to keep Madonna "relevant" by mentioning her every time a new Gaga song is released? "Venus" doesn't sound anything like "Papa Don't Preach". But then again, the fans are so deaf that they think "Applause" is a rip-off of "Girl Gone Wild" but deny that "Give Me All Your Love" is a rip off of João Brasil's "LOVE Banana". From the video someone posted: Both valid points. Though I'm sure everyone at the board already knew about the "Girls just wanna have fun" line. Also, note how Gaga actually gave credit to the sample she used. Sun Ra wrote the "Rocket number 9..." line and he is in the songwriters credits list: Unlike, Madonna, who doesn't give any credit to the people she sampled from (except for "Hung Up").

Yes, Moldonna usually doesn't give any credits. If Abba was an unpopular group and very few people knew that she copied them, she would have never given any credit for them.

Gaga has never said that she wanted to be "The Queen of Pop" or have any stupid title like that. And this new interview proves it. The Dumbdonna fans look stupid when they say that Gaga is a "wanna-be Madonna" when Gaga doesnt even want to be known as "the new Madonna". Lady Gaga Hoped To 'Piss Off Madonna'

On Aisha's website there's an article about Madonna stealing from Sheila. However I couldnt find anything about it but... while reading thread 'Madonna rip offs (non music)' I found info about this rip off. Here it is, another photo from series 'Lady Gaga didn't copy Madonna because Moldonna havent created any style. There are many other comparisons which I can't confirm because link or photos they posted are long deleted.
