Lady gaga is way better than madonna. If gaga is acopy of madonna for dressing in fishnets and heels and for having a black and white video, why dont her fans also call Rihanna or nicki minaj or kesha copies? Because Gaga is the biggest threat for her. That's why they try to destroy her and even desparately seek help among Britney Spears or Christins Aguilera fans yeah. gaga has done more things for various organizations and groups than katy perry and britney and probably madonna. cant wait for gaga's new album to prove that shes not a copy of madonna. ;D

I was looking for more photo comparisons but I found this article instead. Includes a video that shows "Express Yourself" was ripped-off from another song. Madonna Throws Stones at Lady Gaga from Glass HouseAuthor: Scott Finley Published: January 18, 2012 at 5:27 am After years of laying relatively low, The Material Girl has returned to the publicity circuit to promote her new film and album. Madonna is a talented artist and a marketing genius, both of which have earned her many well-deserved accolades, but she won’t be receiving any Miss Congeniality awards anytime soon. Despite staying quiet about the never-ending “Born This Way” versus “Express Yourself” drama for nearly a year, Madge has finally decided to speak out on the issue. So, what does Madonna think about “Born This Way?” In short, it would appear that she agrees with Gaga’s critics that the song is far too similar to “Express Yourself.” Madonna summed up her opinion of “Born This Way” in a cleverly backhanded way by stating, “What a wonderful way to redo my song.” But not so fast Madonna! What Madonna seems to have conveniently forgotten is that “Express Yourself” received a fair bit of criticism itself for borrowing from the chorus to the Staples Singers’ 1971 hit “Respect Yourself.” Many of us have fond memories of listening to Madonna exclaim, “Express yourself! Hey hey hey hey!” over the radio. However, it turns out the Staples Singers were exclaiming “Respect yourself! Dee dee dee dee!” in an awfully similar way over 40 years ago. To be fair, no court has ever ruled that Madonna plagiarized “Respect yourself” (just as no court has ever ruled that Gaga ripped-off Madonna), but she already has a couple of strikes against her when it comes to copyright. In 2003, Madonna settled a lawsuit filed by famed photographer Guy Bourdin’s estate, alleging that her “Hollywood” video plagiarized his work. (Click here to see side-by-side comparisons of the two artists’ work.) Then in 2005, a Belgian court ruled that Madonna’s “Frozen” violated the copyright of Salvatore Acquaviva’s “Ma Vie Fout L'camp,” forcing Belgian radio stations to stop playing Madge’s hit and even banning the sale of the song and its parent album in some instances. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Madonna has been plagued by copycat allegations throughout her career. An artist by the name of Aisha, who claims to have been the victim of plagiarism by Madonna herself, has compiled an extensive list of the lawsuits filed against Madonna over the years as well as visual comparisons between her and the legends that preceded her, most notably Marilyn Monroe. Lawsuits and allegations aside, Madonna is an absolute legend with tremendous talent and, despite my criticisms, I am a huge fan. However, in the age of the internet where information from the past can be readily dug up, she would be wise to stop throwing stones in her glass house.

Until I realized it was part of the article you linked to.

I don't know how to put Youtube videos but here's a very delusional Gaga copied one: Gaga copied because she was crawling on the floor in the Bad Romance video and Madonna also crawled on the floor in the Reduce Yourself video. That's the delusion in that fanbase. Aside from Born this Way, Gaga hasn't copied anything music-wise from Madonna. So I don't see the constant Gaga copied everything Madonna did comments when they're based off off one song.

I think it only counts as copying if the original artist did something ir unique or different. Crawling on the floor is not copying. Songs that sound the same is copying. But I dont think Born this way sounds like Bore Yourself.

I was going to devote an entire section of my site to post that there is a difference between copying and normal things. Obviously crawling on the floor is not a copy. Otherwise there would be this type of nonsense: "THE ORIGINAL" LADY GAGA COPIED MADONNA! EVEN BABIES COPIED MADONNA! I think it only counts as copying if the original artist did something ir unique or different. Crawling on the floor is not copying. Songs that sound the same is copying. But I dont think Born this way sounds like Bore Yourself. I appreciate you comment and welcome you to the board, but how were you able to post here? I have settings set so only members with 10 posts can post here.

Then you don't want me to post on your site then? No, its not like that. We just had a lot of trolls on this forum recently and Anthony made(thought to make) a security that new members must write 10 post on the board for new members, before being able to write on another ones.

Nope. I'm still not seeing how Gaga's fashion copied Madonna's. Did Madonna ever wear crazy outfits like Gaga? I did a Google Image search and found nothing similar in their fashion style. So is the whole "Gaga copied Madonna's fashion" a made up lie by Madonna fans?
