This thread is a reply for what one of BigMcDonna fan claimed or something like this. Let's begin with Debbie Harry: Blondie singer Debbie Harry has accused Madonna of stealing her look when she rose to fame in the 1980s. Harry was an up-and-coming musician when Madonna became a pop sensation with her self-titled debut album in 1982, and is convinced the Like A Virgin singer got the idea for her platinum blonde hairdo from the now-62-year-old star. She says, “I came right up against the Madonna thing. Maybe it’s my paranoia but she had a lot of my looks. If you look closely, sometimes there’s pictures of her and me that completely overlap. “She (Madonna) was getting such a huge push from Warner (Bros.), I was definitely on the B-list. It was a hard period for me. I don’t think anybody knew how to market me or what to do with me. I was like a fish out of water.” Source: blog.sfgate.com/dailydish/2007/10/01/debbie-harry-madonna-stole-my-style/

Deadmau5: "Madonna just dropped her twelfth studio album, MDNA, proving that not-so-subtle drug references apparently never go out of style. The “Girl Gone Wild” singer recently took the stage at the Ultra Music Festival to introduce powerhouse DJ Avicii, and her remarks have caused a stir with electro connoisseur Deadmau5. “I have a few questions for you,” Madonna said, addressing the crowd before Avicii’s set. “How many people in this crowd have seen Molly? Are you ready to dance? Are you ready for the next DJ, motherf***ers?” Molly is slang for MDMA, the key ingredient in Ecstasy. MDMA… MDNA… Get it? The crowd cheered in response, indicating that many of them probably have Molly on speed dial. I wonder how her daughter, 15-year-old Lourdes Leon would feel? Deadmau5 took to Facebook and Tumblr to spew his feelings on the matter… and I mean SPEW. His face may be hidden, but his opinions are all out there." This is what he wrote on facebook: I wonder if the real reason of Deadmau5 being angry at copydonna is that she stole his intro for GGW intro.

Lily Allen began dissing her in 2006. Every next was better than previous. 1)> The 21-year-old singer made the comments during an interview with GQ magazine, saying: "I haven't got anything against her at all but I don't think anything she's done since the early Eighties has really been, like, 'wow'." "She might have meant something once but I don't know many people my age who care." www.rte.ie/ten/2006/0802/allenl.html2)> 2007 British pop star Lily Allen has reignited her feud with Madonna, insisting people only buy the HUNG UP star's records because she's so famous. The smile singer criticised the pop queen last August (06), saying, "She might have meant something once but I don't know many people my age who care," and now she's lashed out at her again. She says, "I never say anything unprovoked but an interviewer asked me who, in my opinion, was the most overrated pop star. And overrated for me is someone who sells a lot of records because of who they are. And I don't think people buy Madonna's records because they think they're really good." www.contactmusic.com/news/allen-blasts-madonna-again_10199823)> 2011 The conversation then moved to what Lily wants out of life and what her idea of hell would be. And let’s just say Madonna isn’t going to be happy. Allen reveals: “People who are famous and successful and live in this mad world tend to die really early, or kill themselves, or die in a drugs overdose. I'd rather not so I figure I will go and eat. My idea of hell would be doing this in 25 years' time. I don't want to be like Madonna - look at her, she's mental. No offence but that is not what drives me. I want to get married and have kids and make sandwiches cutting the crusts off.” perezhilton.com/2011-03-08-lily-allen-makes-comments-about-madonnas-life-being-hell#.UY_qWLUqzyR

Next is Alison Goldfrapp: Singer Alison Goldfrapp has criticised Madonna as unoriginal - because the MUSIC star relies too much on other people to shape her music. British duo GOLDFRAPP - composed of Alison and composer WILL GREGORY - write and perform their own music, and find it hard to comprehend why musicians like Madonna pinch parts of other people's ideas. Alison says, "She's always got her eye on what everyone's doing and she's always nabbing people, the latest DJ or whatever, to get them to put their thing on her thing, you know. "I think it's quite clever, but I don't know if that's creative." www.contactmusic.com/news-article/goldfrapp-slams-madonnas-methodsBlasts her again: Q: Have you ever heard Madonna’s ‘Like It Or Not’ from ‘Confessions on A Dancefloor’? It was her attempt at making a Goldfrapp record. ‘Black Cherry’ to be specific. Alison Goldfrapp : ‘Never heard it, that song. I couldn’t care less what she or whoever does. Madonna is always copying other people’s work. yuck.’ Q: Well you guys are quite good at it yourself : ‘Ooh La La’ was a T-Rex rip-off. ‘Cologne Cerrone Houdini’ could have been any Gainsbourg song on ‘Historie de Melody Nelson’. And those are just two examples. Alison Goldfrapp : ‘We have a perfectly legitimate post-modern explanation for that. Those songs are an Hommage! We steal like magpies but we pay tribute to our heroes at any chance we get, in interviews etc.. . Everyone should know by now that Marc Bolan was my idol growing up. But we’ll never be caught following the latest trend or collaborating with the hottest DJs and producers just to get their names on our record sleeves. That’s not our style. That was stupid and hypocritical but I still like the fact that she dissed stealdonna.

Below is this link And there's a comment to this by Salvatore Circelli: "I have been talking about how Madonna's whole career has been based on stealing great concepts, ideas and trends from great underground artists and pushing them into the mainstream for years. Thank you so much for proving my point! you Burger Girl!" This comment is liked by 3 people also by The Burger Girl.

These were a good laugh. Thanks for posting these! I think I once saw a video where Mariah Carey was asked about Madonna and she responded with something along the lines of, "Oh her? She used to be popular back when I was in sixth, seventh grade."

Prince: Ever-enigmatic artist prince disses Madonna in a new 'Billboard' article. hey may have dated back in 1985, but now there’s no love lost between Prince and Madonna. In a new interview with ‘Billboard,’ Prince blames the Material Girl in part for his decision to end his 20-year relationship with his record label Warner Bros. According to him, Madonna was getting all the promotion, even as Prince was doing all the work. Prince blames Madonna for trouble with his former record label, Warner Bros. “She was getting paid, but at the same time we were selling more records and selling out concerts on multiple nights,” Prince said. www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/prince-slams-madonna-maroon-5-article-1.1248546Something similar to what Debborah Harry said. Is it a coincidence? I don't think so.

Jennifer Lopez: She called herself a better actress than Madge: “Do I think she’s a great actress? No. Acting is what I do.” becksmithhollywood.com/?tag=jennifer-lopezBut everyone is a better actress than she is. I'm not writing it just as a hater, but it is proven. She won so many awards for worst acts in movies that maybe we should make another thread about it. And stupid admin on pawsdownmonsters wrote that BigMcDonna is the best female singer, actress, entertainer comparable to Marylin Monroe, while calling Gaga just a wannabe. Seem like thay forgot to prove it(again )

Mariah Carey: "Really, I haven't pay attention to Madonna since I was on my 7th grade when she used to be popular. So I didn't...I didn't hear that"
I hope I wrote her quote well. I'm not a native English speaker and I didn't hear all words clearly.

Morrissey, the leader and singer of band 'The Smiths'. That one was really good: "I saw Madonna in concert a few years ago in L.A. and the wasteful distribution of everything extravagant meant to distract you from the fact that she has no talent whatsoever. No one from the crowd wanted to hug her. No one in the crowd wanted to come closer to her. She's the most succesful scam in the history of music and she never got a single complement from a person with an actual integrity. She's not funny, she has no personality. You look at the stage and sometimes you forget that she's even there... But she has an expensive PR machine, so she was probably heavily promoted in Israel, while I would be found in the gutter with my face down, for identification purposes." www.morrissey-solo.com/content/795-Morrissey-disses-Madonna-in-Israel?page=4On another page I found this: "But he shows no hesitation in dissing Madonna, calling the pop icon "McDonna" and insisting she can't compare to a singer like the late Edith Piaf" www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/morrissey-talks-label-drama-lady-211457McDonna?? LOL I didn't know e called her so. I saw it on SuperAmanda's listal. What a coicidence(see the title of thread)
