This relates to fan base wars, but anyways, this Lady Gaga vs Madonna fans thing has become out of control.
There is nothing wrong with a simple, lighthearted debate, but some people take it way too seriously.
Apparently, a blog ran by Little Monsters is full of racist and disgusting content.
Their latest post, encourages people to vote against Madonna giving a GLAAD Award to Anderson Cooper because she spread the AIDS disease.
While I think the whole blog is ran by a troll, I find it more suspicious that the first (and only??) site to talk about it was an article written by Jemuel Dasilva on Examiner.
Why do I find this odd?
Between the stop-Madonna-from-giving-an-award post that was posted on March 4, 2013, there is an almost 2 month gap between it and the last post (February 10, 2013).
And most of the comments on that post (and previous posts) were made on March 4th.
So basically, that blog is not that popular. Until this Examiner reporter (who is known to attack Gaga and defend Madonna) "uncovers" it from somewhere deep in the Internet.
Can it be the same person who wrote that article and created that obviously fake troll blog?
It doesn't matter. That blog should be removed just on the basis that it includes some of the most racist and disgusting things I have ever read.
This isn't even an issue about disliking Madonna. Madonna did do ~some contributions to Fight Against AIDS organizations and she promoted safe se.x.
And unlike other people who don't like Madonna, I think she is somewhat concerned about gay rights and even if she is fake as hell, she drew some attention to the issues. Where I disagree on the "Madonna as a gay icon" issue is that her fans claim that she is the first one to draw attention to gays and issues surrounding them. I think that is incorrect information but this isn't the time to discuss that...
Overall, to wish death on her or anyone else (like this troll does) is sick.
