I thought there was a hypocrite thread, but I couldn't find one... If anyone finds it post the link here so I can merge the threads!
From the other thread. She was so upset at Sinead ripping the photo of the Pope because she said "I think there is a better way to present her ideas rather than ripping up an image that means a lot to other people."
Then what about the things she has done that offended other people as well? Such as: poking fun of religions, rubbing the flag of a country between her legs, attacking British people...
I posted this on the other thread:
Madonna's 'Like a Prayer' Turns 25! 10 Things You Might Not Know
Other topics that showcase her hypocrisy:
Is She Really Striving for World Peace?
Not Materialistic? But She's the Material Girl!
Nu-dity and Revealing Outfits
Smoking: Make Up Your Mind Madonna!

Although I like Madonna sometimes, I don't like her injecting religious references in her songs and videos. I also wished that Madonna should get better movie and TV roles because she should try a hand at being a better actress. I know that she won a Golden Globe award for "Evita," but it was for one movie that stood out for the critics to finally like. As for Madonna herself, I did not like her attitude towards Sinead O'Connor in the past in regarding O'Connor ripping up the picture of Pope John Paul II on "Saturday Night Live", that is, she felt it was too controversial but had no problem with the controversial images of her video of "Like A Prayer." A friend of mine told me that Madonna was reacting through jealousy and also to promote her book, "se.x." I tended to agree. Madonna should not have been hypocritical of a rival singer's actions in some contrast with her own. But then again, jealousy and rivalry tend to happen with all entertainers.
