The fans are upset because the MDNA Tour DVD/Blu-ray is really cheap.
If you recall, Madonna spent "hours and hours" editing and directing the DVD herself. So it's no surprise that the overall final product was cheap and crappy.

Well one thing's for sure...if Germany does fix the problem but the USA doesn't, I'll just import the German Blu-ray so that I know I'll have a fixed copy. I don't care if I have to pay double.
However, I'm sure if Europe recognizes the problem, then they will communicate with the USA branch to confirm the defects. But as cheap as USA is sometimes, they may or may not want to fix the issues.

jESUS i THOUGHT YOU WAS ALL MAKING THIS UP until-
I got the DVD from HMV UK , it plays fine, great sound from i think 2.1
so I thought i would get the blu ray , from hmv , which i did
tv is a philips 42 inch led/ panasonic blu ray player
FIRST THE SOUND IN NORMAL 2 POINT STEREO IS UP AND DOWN, I HEAR THE FIRST BELL, THEN THE OTHER 14 BELLS ARE MUFFLED THEN A LOUD BELL, SKIPPING AHEAD REVOLVER IS A SNOW STORM . IDGAF WHEN NICKI SINGS I KNOW ITS GETS REDUCED FROM EPIX AND THE DVD BUT ON THE BLU RAY IT COMPLETELY CUTS OUT HER VOCALS TO LEAVE JUST THE MUSIC
so after 40 pages on here, i agree this is just shabby shit. have i got a faulty blu ray batch or are they all like this this now.
taking it back to hvm tomorrow for refund
but the dvd is spot on so wtf?

It's weird, Express Yourself wasn't grainy but GMAYL is.
I just received my Blurry from amazon, the sound seems fine to me.. I don't have big equipment.
But the image!!!!!! It looks like it's a copy of a copy of a copy!
What a disappointment! I didn't see the show on Epic, did it look like that in HD? The clip they showed at the Billboard Awards didn't look grainy like that at all. I'm sure it's an artistic decision though. WOW what a joke! 8-O

Personally I'm waiting to see if this will be officially acknowledged by Madonna and her label and that a solution is provided. I don't feel like dealing with returning faulty discs and such.

Again here is my tv screen with the EpixHD rip I made myself the night it debuted on the same TV same Machine same settings. What I do not understand is how changing my settings is going to improve that amount of snow or that because it is a bluray it has more grain detail from the high def. I am sorry that sounds kinda silly. If that snowy grain was in the EpixHD master wouldnt it be even sloppier, fuzzier and blurred because if the lack of the superior high def people are claiming the blu has. Remember, the lower the def the smoother softer the picture is leading me to think the picture would just be a white smeared mess then on the EpixHD rip.
In addition to this There is the missing sound. It shows there is a channel but it is not coming out of the proper speakers. Even the Epix rip I made sounds loads better. The blue ray makes my left ear hurt.
Now did I hear that UMG German mentioned all these were pressed in the US?
Live Nation responded to my Email and will not help they say that I did not purchase it directly from them so they can not guarantee the quality ? WTF??? Still no response since Tuesday from UMG.
As for Best Buy UMG and Live Nation I am filing a complaint now with my State Attorney General. I am not fucking around here and so tired of being made to feel as if I am trying to rip them off or that I am lying and or crazy. That is what is really hurting me.

This doesn't have anything to do with the cheap product, but this fan has a point (surprisingly). Madonna has to give credit to Lady Gaga for "Born This Way" because she did not write it.

But you cannot disagree about copyright. Madonna most certainly has no legal right to use Born This Way. You can argue all day long about how it sounds like Express Yourself, but nothing has been prove in a court of law. But even if you give Madonna a pass for using something that many people would claim should belong to her in the first place, she most certainly did not write the lyrics to Born This Way (which have nothing in common with Express Yourself). Not giving her credit for it would be comparable to ABBA performing a medley of Gimme, Gimme, Gimme (A Man After Midnight) and Hung Up, releasing it commercially and not giving Madonna any credit at all.
