I have something to say. As a Madonna fan and I know I posted in the right section.
But how is Madonna over when she continues to be a true force to be reckoned with?
The Queen of Pop has the #1 tour of 2012 with $305 million and 2.2 million people and The Sticky an Sweet tour is the best selling tour by a solo female artist ever with more than $430 millions and 4.1 million people. An the Confessions Tour made more than $200 million and the Re-Invention Tour made $150 millions. Her tour only get bigger and she already has made more than 1 billion dollars with all her tours.
How if that a flop?
The MDNA album reached #1 in 50 countries and has sold 2 million copies worldwide. Hard Candy reaches #1 in 40 and has sold 4 million. Confessions on a Dance Floor sold 12 million copies worldwide. Hung Up BROKE THE RECORD for most #1s.
How is that a flop?
Where is Cyndi Lauper selling out stadiums and sellin 2 millions albums WW? Where is Paula Flopdul? Or Mariah Carey? Or Janet Jackson?
None of them sell out stadiums or albums anymore.
The Queen has also beaten younger artists. She beat Gaga, whose Express Yourself Tour only made $160 million and 1.1 million audience.
Madonna DOUBLED the audience and money Gaga had.
How is that a flop!
Madonna is still relevant whether you want to admit it or not. More relevant that every pop artist today.
And pleas don't say Madonna is a copycat because this has nothing to so with her being a copycat.
This is about her being RELEVANT.
She has 38 top 10 hits. 43 #1 dance hits. She has 300 millions albums sold WW. Most successful female artist EVER. #1 in the UK and Australia and Japan and Germany and every country out there.
How is that a flop?
Explain to me how Madonna is a Flop?
I didn't cuss at you so you have no reason not to answer. I read all posts here and see you ban people who call you bad names.
I have not.
I just want anyone here to tell me how THE QUEEN OF POP is a flop. I told you why she not. So show me what you have?

Excuse me what?? How can she be relevant if she hasn't done anything important. You think she's relvant because she earns a lot of money. LOL.
I'll tell you something: "Almost 1 year ago there was her concert in my country and it took place on National Stadium. In the news thay told that money for sport developement in Poland were spent on organisation of concert. It was even said that organisators of concert didn't have to pay for renting the stadium for 10 days. They only paid for water, electricity. If she did it also in another countries, there's no wonder that she grossed so much money" She earned a lot from tours because her tickets were very expensive not that her concerts were sold out. Maybe there were many people on her tour but she lost thousands of fans after she was constantly late at least one hour on many concerts.
You're not right about other musicians you mantioned. Cyndi, Mariah and other musicans and real artists from old days are still making new songs and appearing on some shows sometimes. For example Cyndi's last single was released in 2012,Janet's in 2010, Mariah's new album in late 2012. They aren't as involved as they used to probably because they have children and want to take care of them unlike madonna who still needs to ake more money. Even Lilly Allen dissed her for this:
So basically Mandonna isn't really relevant cause she doesn't do anything essential. Everything she does allegly for others, in reality she does it for attention. She doesn't care about people. "...she's getting the radical chic faux Lefty credentials on one hand while making money off and investing millions into a deadly country on the other." "When it became clear that Madonna had a bigger picture in mind than gathering footage for "private home movies for personal use," the dancers expressed concern. They were allegedly reassured that they would be allowed to review review the final product and edit out any scenes they found objectionable. But when Trupin saw a scene that showed him kissing another male dancer on a dare from Madonna, he was horrified. Despite Madonna's claims to the contrary, Trupin says that he never signed a release. With his family unaware of his sexual orientation, Trupin implored Madonna to cut the footage. In response, Madonna flew into a rage. "Get over it!" she screamed. "I don't care!" The scene remained in the film. "

khrisisamadonnafanWell thanks for not attacking any of us personally. Except that the MDNA Tour didn't sell out in all places. People left because they were bored by her performance or she took too long to get on stage. Not only that, but the prices were so high that ticket prices were slashed in half in some locations. Some tickets were also given away for free "on accident". As someone said, in his last post, making the most money does not prove someone is relevant. Look at this article: The 10 People That Made The Most Money This YearThese business people made upwards of $1 billion. Does this mean they are more relevant that Madonna because they made more money than her? The MDNA Tour had an audience of 2.2 million but 3.4 million people have gone to see BruceSpringsteen and the E Street Band (MDNA Tour had an audience of 1.63 million in 2012/Bruce Springesteen= 2.16 million/Roger Waters= 1.68 million/Coldplay= 1.81 million... Billboard). So technically more people would rather see Bruce Springsteen or Roger Waters than Madonna. Lol. Source that says she reached #1 in 40 countries, please. MDNA has not sold 2 million. 1.8 million worldwide. Didn't Paula Abdul retire? She hasn't released an album in almost 20 years. Cyndi Lauper decided to go her own route and release the music she wanted (which was not mainstream at all). She would probably be a threat to Madonna if she didn't wait too long between albums. Janet Jackson retired I think... Mariah Carey isn't as relevant as she used to be, but her single "Beautiful" has sold more than 1 million copies compared to the highly-promoted "Give Me All Your Luvin'" (+500,000 sales). It probably matters to a point. She made money off other people's work. Mariah Carey has 18 #1 songs. Rihanna has 12 #1 songs (tied with Madonna). Just because you have a #1 song does not make you relevant. Let me give you an example. In 1983, Madonna released her first album. It went on to sell 5 million copies in the United States. That same year, Lionel Richie released his second album, which went on to sell 10 million copies in the United States. He outsold Madonna then. In 2012, they both released new albums. MDNA has barely sold 521,000 copies. Lionel's album has sold more than 1,000,000 copies. And he outsold her once again. Does this mean Lionel is more relevant than Madonna then? Since his album sold more than hers. I don't think either of them is relevant. Most people just buy older acts albums for the nostalgia factor or because they are fans.

But the MDNA Tour made lots of attention and controversy from the media and everyone was talking about it and lots of celebrities like it and went to it. Name at least 5 celebrities who went there. Before MDNA tour no one was talking about it. No one in media was persuading people to go there. Tour got a lots of attention due to her very bad behave: -undressing on stage -being late few hours -showing swastika on French politician -pretending to suppert gay rights in Russia... She did it all just to make people talk about her, she doesn't mind if these things are bad. If other people had bigger audiences but earned less it means only one thing...their tickets weren't as expensive as Madonna's. She only cares about money. Earlier you told that she's relevant cause she had bigger audiences than Gaga. But when it came out that other people had bigger audiences that Mandonna you suddenly changed mind that she's relevant due to money she earned. LOL You definitely didn't watch this forum and what we post here as you claimed before.

khrisisamadonnafanWell thanks for not attacking any of us personally. Everything she did was from creativity and talent and originality. Whos Lionel Ritchie? Never heard of him. And how do I know you DIDNT MAKE ALL THIS INFORMARTION UP? She only grossed so much with so little people because the tickets were expensive. And why wouldn't audience matter? If 1 million people went to a concert and only 500,000 went to another, which one was more popular (disregarding ticket prices of course)? The truth of the matter is that more people would rather go to a Bruce Springsteen concert or a Coldplay concert rather than a Madonna concert. I believe a lot of that information is incorrect. In a way. Many news sources reported that tickets were still for sale (on e-bay and by scalpers). These days, ticket re-seller companies (like StubHub) buy concert tickets as soon as they come out and sell them to people at a lower price (or higher depending on the demand for them). This is why you hear that the MDNA Tour tickets were sold out in less that 30 minutes. It wasn't that people were online waiting for them to go on sale (well except her fans), it was these internet ticket seller companies that bought a large majority of them. If you'd like, I can paste in EVERY source I have on the poor ticket sales of the MDNA Tour in the MDNA Tour thread. Of course it was promoted. You would think that with the highest audience ever for a Half-time Football Show, she would have sold more copies of that "LUV Banana" wannabe, rip-off song. But nope. She only ended up selling 500,000 copies of it. Not even Nicki Minaj or LMFAO (who were popular at the time) could save it. Of course she made money off other people. Have you not read anything that has been posted on the "Anti-Madonna Content" section of the forum? Lionel Richie, is a man who has been releasing music for 30+ years and whose barely promoted album sold more copies than MDNA. Despite the fact that MDNA had some promotion. None of this stuff is made up. I (and everyone else) make sure to include a link to a source for everything I post.

Few weeks ago there was a Roger Waters' concert in my country. He was a member of Pink Floyd. It took place on the same stadium that Moldonna's flop over a year ago. Many people were amazed, fascinated by his show. I still remeber one guy told in the news "It was really breathtaking, much greater than Madonna's". He didn't have to strip on stage or make religious controversy to make a better show. Sorry M you're flopping more and more.

Madonna goes beyond the boundaries of what is expected of herr!
She could perform a regular pop show but the Queen wants and is he only artist to add imagery and messages to her tours!
Madonna wNts to shock and make poeple think about many issues!
That's y she's the Queen and no one else outdoes her?
Everything the MDNA tour was was for make statements on war, peace, live, acceptance, woman's rights and sexuality!
The MDNA tour also had lots of imagery and cost $1 per show!
That's sort of commitment and money spent is unheard of.
People did go to her tours. It's all Sold out. You posted no proves that show otherwise.
What you said is a LIE!
You have no source. Billboard says it sold out and made $305 million!
And no. Everyone said the MDNA tour was the neat tour EVER IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC. Her your facts straight.
