This is the kind of nonsense I saw as I started compiling information for the site. Madonna's MDNA Tour To Break All-Time Sales RecordThe music mogul is set to break the world record for most mulah earned from a single tour ever All bow down, yet again, to the world's reigning Queen of Pop. Madonna - musician, mogul, mother, pop icon extraordinaire - is yet again leading the pack in all her Leo-glory. This time Money Bags Madge is making history by having the highest grossing tour ever. Her current MDNA tour is set to beat out U2 who currently holds the number one spot with $736, 421, 586 for their 360º Tour. Madonna had previously held the number four position on the highest-grossing concert ticket charts at $407,713, 266 for her Sticky and Sweet tour which promoted her Hard Candy Album. However the MDNA tour earned a whopping $50 million in its first three shows, and with 70 shows overall the tour is approximated to top previous records entirely. This is great news for Madonna and her supporters, as the MDNA album did not receive the critical or business success many people had anticipated it would reach. Perhaps this hints at Madonna's genius as a multi-faceted artist whose success thrives off the grandeur and spectacle of her live shows. As a fan, I look to her concerts as a way to energize my outlook on life, and I feel they are truly incomparable in their ability to inspire, uplift and embolden the audience. I also think Madonna fans are notorious for paying outlandish amounts to scalpers for prime, front row seats and this should be reflected in her tour earning approximations. Madonna's fanhood is so viserally charged that many would shell out thousands for a single ticket after market if it guaranteed closer proximity to your highness. Also, no estimates have yet been approximated for what her Los Angeles ticket sales will do to her overall numbers. Many of her most die-hard fans and big-ticket purchasers are in Los Angeles, and it will be amazing to see what transpires over the next coming week in terms of her overall bottom line. _____________________________________________________________ Good thing it did not. ;D

Finally found some video proof of empty seats at the MDNA Tour! Regardless of if they were empty due to not selling out or people leaving, people weren't here to see The Queen of Copies.

Some people were leaving because they were fed up with waiting over 2 hours for Queen of Lateness.

I think she looks reallllyyy bad. She's so full of herself she apparently had a red-carpet premiere for the FLOPDNA Tour. Roll up, roll up: Madonna sports ringmaster style outfit as the circus comes to town for premiere of her MDNA tour documentary [*] She is certainly a big fan of making fashion statements in bizarre outfits when it comes to her red carpet appearances.
So Madonna pulled out all the stops at a party thrown in her honour on Tuesday.
But this time, the superstar singer chose to cover up and instead of a typically skimpy ensemble, she sported ringmaster style attire.
Madge was naturally the guest of honour at a screening for the Epix World premiere of her Madonna: The MDNA Tour documentary, held at the Paris Theatre in New York.
The 54-year-old sported a black top hat and tails along with a cream satin bowtie and matching waistcoat, and platform black and white brogues..
Madonna referenced her Eighties success with a chainmail glove on one hand, along with a monogram 'M' ring on the other.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't care if an artist isn't dancing or jumping around on stage but considering how Madonna is always hailed as "bringing energy" to her shows, this performance is a bore. All she does is walk around, barely doing any dancing (her back-up dancers did more than her). The crowd doesn't do much either.

Before I forget. For the fans who continue to insist the MDNA Tour was a "success"... If it was so successful, why would ticket prices be discounted? I'll tell you why. Nobody was buying them (because they were expensive), so to get rid of them, they slashed the prices. Well, in Canada anyways. Madonna ticket prices slashed for Vancouver gigsTickets for Vancouver concerts by Madonna this weekend are going for considerably less than face value, and one major ticket seller says that demonstrates there's a lesson to be learned by even the biggest acts in the music business. When tickets first went on sale months ago, prices topped out at $375 for the best seats. Now many are being resold for half that, leaving ticket re-sellers singing the blues. “I think Madonna had a lot of hype initially, so many speculators bought extra tickets thinking they're going to make a quick buck,” said Mario Lovich, of ShowTime tickets. “ Now they realize they're stuck with these things so they flooded the marketplace.” It’s a cautionary tale for many of the biggest acts in the music business. With general decline in album sales, more performers are touring, creating a more crowded marketplace. Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga are just two of a galaxy of stars coming to Vancouver over the next few months whose concert tickets are currently on sale. Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen will both be in the city in November. Lovich says the moral is that performers have to keep tickets affordable. “If they're priced right, they'll sell. That's why we're selling tickets like crazy these days. Tickets can be had for $50, $60 for Madonna right now. And that's a price point most people are happy to pay. $375? Not so much!" The Material Girl performs Saturday and Sunday night at Rogers Arena.

Before I forget. This page on the main website has proof of her unsold out shows, or performances where fans walked out/didn't show up. My favorite incident is the Scotland one, where free tickets were "accidentally" given away TWO times. MDNA Tour: Not Selling Out/Fans Walk Out

Some pics from a recent video I saw. These are from Zurich. Lots of empty space in the bottom left side. And you see people walking through that empty space.
