I'm going o tell you guys the truth about Madonna.
1- She has sold over 300 mil. Records worldwide! No other female artist had done this and it just shows how popular The Queen is.
2- She is a billionaire! Money made from her music, tours, Music videos, merchandise, other deals.
3- Made dance music popular. After disco ended only one artist was brave enough to set herself away from the trends. Madonna's dance music had influenced many and she has over 40 #1 dance songs.
5- Pushed the boundaries! When everyone was too wimpy to talk about se.x or other topics, Madonna was there to show off her different ideas that no one else was willing to do.

Not only does Madonna express herself sonically and visually artistically, she makes a boat load of money and sales from doing so. Besides, if artists don't make enough money, they'll be dropped. Which is what happened with Kylie Minogue, a constant Madonna copycat. |

Let me enlighten you though: - Madonna made dance music popular, which Kylie chose to be. - Madonna was the first mainstream artist to use electronic music in 1995 with Bedtime Story, which Kylie copied in her commercial failure Impossible Princess. - Madonna was the first to use sexual content and art in music, which you guessed it, Kylie copied. - Madonna created performance art. Before her, music videos and tour setlists were boring with an artist singing with a band. Madonna added storylines to those and made them popular on MTV. |

And I saw those but you fail to mention the things Kylie stole. Madonna came up with her own ideas and Kylie reductively stole them. There are many more plagiarisms she wasn't sued for beause she stole from undergriund artists poorer than her or she stole from dead people. For example Donna Summer from whom copydonna stole many times. Electronic music existed long before mandonna. Its dated for 1920s. One of the most known group making this kind of music is Kraftwerk from whom, which you guessed, mcdonna also stole music, at least once. I don't know whether Olivia Newton John was the first one but she used sexual and gay content before madonna e.g. in 'Physical' video and she was also copied by guess who. You think Madonna would copy artists who aren't even successful or well known? I bet each of those artists was dropped from their record label for failing to achieve any hits. And obvioulsy Madonna didn't create music. What kind of lie is that? But Madonna did create many genres like post-disco, synthpop music, which nobody was using. And also she was the first artist to use a synthesizer instrument in her dance music. That's why Madonna is credited for making dance music. How are they weak? Please who me an example of an artist before Madonna using electronic music. Like I said, Madonna was the first and that led others to copy her. And noone used se.x before her. So basically you're denying the truth? Please look it up anywhere you go and you'll see Madonna has sold 300+ million records. Was the MDNA tour not #1 in 2012? It more than doubled Copyga's failure tour gross. |
