You know how Lamedonna fans always say that Gaga copied her? Well, it Gaga copied Lamedonna because she had a "similar ponytail"then what about other artists who used a ponytail? Here's a photo a Lamedonna fan made of Gaga and Lamedonna: But what about other pop artists who used a ponytail? Are they copies of Lamedonna as well? Like Katy Perry: Or Ke$ha.

Well, I wouldn't say all things are considered copying off another person. You have a point about the ponytail. Multiple artists use them but Gaga was the only one called a copycat for it with this image: In that photo, other than the ponytail, there is nothing similar between the two. But in this photo, Gaga is called a copycat for the outfit AND the curly hair. I think it's obvious that Madonna was going for a Marylin Monroe-look in that photo (don't forget that Madonna likes to copy her more than any other actress). BUT Gaga may have copied Madonna but Madonna copied that look from others. According to this site, "Bullet Bras Bullet bras, typically made from stiff plastic nylon and satin, first made their appearance in the 1940s. The structured, pointy, cone-like shape created voluptuous results and rose to popularity when Hollywood stars, including Marilyn Monroe and Lana Turner, began sporting them." And: "The Bullet Bra The naturalistic, rounded bust shape of the 30s and early 40s gave way to a more structured, pointed shape by the late 40s. Dior's New Look brought back small waistlines and the hourglass silhouette, so - just as in the Victorian era - bustlines and hips were exaggerated to enhance the effect. "Sweater girls" of the 40s and 50s like Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Lana Turner et al further popularised the pointy-boobed look. Bust padding was sometimes used to fill out the bullet shape." ( Abreast of Developments: The changing shape of decolletage in fashion) They were popular in the 40's/50's and Marylin Monroe (among others) made them popular. Here is an example of what one looks like: And here's a photo of Marylin Monroe wearing one: And most of the time they wore them under sweaters/shirts (that's why they were called the Sweater Girls): And an newspaper ad for a company selling them in the 50's:

Copionna didnt invent anything, she doesnt own any style so we cant say others are copying her. However we dont know who was inspiration for Gaga to wear this, it might someone from 30s/40s or it could be madonna as she claims to be huge fan of hers. Another case is that Gaga haters(=Mondonna fans) call Gaga copycat only because she has similar hairstyle. So what hairstyle Gaga should have?? Any hairstyle she would have they would say she copied someone else. Maybe she should be bald. Oh wait then they would claim she copies bald people. They do not allow to do anything.

That's what I was trying to say with this post. She never said she copied Lamedonna but Lamedonna fans automatically said that Gaga copied Boringdonna. If Gaga copied Lamedonna with a ponytail then what about those other artists I mention? They also have ponytails but nobody called them copies. Gaga wont be able to do anything (or wear anything) without Lamedonna's fans saying she copied.

Gaga could have been inspired by anyone but I guess I limited to Madonna to prove my point about Madonna copying other styles as well (Marylin Monroe). Yes. You can find any hairstyle and say it was copied from someone else.
