I'm starting to get into an artist called Marina and the Diamonds. But when I read this... :ltoofunny: Marina And The Diamonds: ''Electra Heart' is inspired by Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Marie Antoinette']- "It's inspired by Marilyn Monroe, Madonna and Marie Antoinette. Madonna is a fearless person. She's been knocked down so many times – for someone to keep going, it shows that they don’t' want to just have fame and success. They want to be a successful artist."
And? I'm sure many artists have been "knocked down" many times only to get up again and continue trying to get their music heard. And what is that nonsense at the end? Of course Madonna only does it for success and fame. Plus, she's says she thinks Madonna isn't doing it for the success but rather for the success? What?? I like her music but her ridiculous comments are very upsetting to me...

By being inspired by she probably meant that she didn't give up and continued on making music. She's obviously blinded by mass media praising thiefdonna for nothing. I hope she won't copy anything from this hag, otherwise copionna wil copy her in revenge, like she did with Alizee or September. Luckily there are many artists who dissed her. See the new thread

Lots of artists say good thinges about Madonna but maybe it's just so they don't have to deal with her. And some of my fave artists have also said good things about her but they haven't "copied" here so it's all okay. ;D

I'm not a fan of Akcent but I like some of their songs(Jokero, Kylie etc.). One of them is 'King of disco'. But now when I watched her music videos... sorry I mean, videos in which she stars, I know that this video is a tribute/copy of video for 'open your ass'. They also sing 6 times at the end of song: "Probably Madonna is the queen of disco Time goes by so slowly..."(the song was recorded after release of 'hung up') Attention: madonna's voice can be heard in second link!!! :radioactive: BTW(By the way, not Born this way) She copied paintings from Tamara de Lempicka in the opening of video. She ripped her off few times:

Didn't know where to put this. So maybe here? Taylor Swift On Selena Gomez And Madonna: Singer Talks Giving Advice, Getting Inspiration] In terms of age and stature, Taylor Swift is sandwiched somewhere between Selena Gomez and Madonna -- at least according to last weekend's Billboard Music Awards, where Gomez represented the show's youngest performers and Madonna its most seasoned.
In a new interview with Billboard, Swift reflects on that position, saying she looks up to the 54-year-old Madonna, who took home Top Touring Artist honors, and avoids doling out advice to younger stars like Gomez.
Swift also seems to acknowledge that her career is not identical to Madonna's early days. Swift has developed a clear identity, whereas Madonna quickly became known for constantly reinventing herself.
"One element of Madonna's career that really takes center stage is how many times she's reinvented herself," Swift said when asked what she's learned from the original Material Girl's legacy. "It's easier to stay in one look, one comfort zone, one musical style. It's inspiring to see someone whose only predictable quality is being unpredictable."
Says Taylor, the one who sings about the same things in every song and album she makes. But werent there other artists before Lamedonna reinventing themselves? And most of her reinventions were just copies of past artists ideas and looks.

When I was a kid I liked(and still like) songs by Kate Ryan, In Grid and Alizée. Few months ago I found out that Alizée really likes Madonna and she even copied her. Alizée also sang her song 'la isla bonita' once at some show. She also covered 'hung up'. She even told once:" I would really like to sing with Madonna sometimes" I have to admit that her cover of 'hung up' sounds terrible to me, like all English versions of her songs. She sounds really fantastic when she sings in French, ;D but when it comes to English...better not say. Madonna didn't stay indebted and she later copied Alizee.

Keith Urban: Madonna inspired new Keith Urban singleCan you hear the similarity between "Little Bit of Everything" and "Don't Tell Me"? The most distinctive musical feature of Keith Urban's Little Bit of Everything — a chopped-up ukulele pattern — may owe its existence to the Material Girl. Urban says Madonna's Don't Tell Me, a 2001 hit that several critics felt had a country influence, inspired the part. "She had a staccato acoustic guitar part in there that I thought was very cool," Urban says. Little Bit was written by pop/hip-hop artist Kevin Rudolf, known for his 2008 single Let It Rock, along with Nashville songwriters Brad and Brett Warren. The single currently sits at No. 24 on USA TODAY's Country airplay chart. "On the demo that Kevin did, it was more of a strummed part, just a straight-up Hey Soul Sister thing," Urban says. But when he and co-producer Nathan Chapman took the song into the studio, Chapman started laying down tracks with the ukulele. "Nathan was playing an arpeggiated piece, which I thought was kind of cool, and then he hit the mute button accidentally and I said, 'Oh, I like that!'" Urban says. Little Bit of Everything is the first single from Urban's forthcoming album Fuse, due Sept. 10. He'll kick off his Light the Fuse Tour 2013 July 18 in Cincinnati. Listen to the tracks from Urban and Madonna and see if you can hear the similarity.

Beth Ditto from band Gossip known for Move in the right directioncopied or made homage(I don't know, she's not Gaga so maybe Morguedonna fans have nothing against to call it a tribute) to a video 'justify my love'. I prefer her video cause it's not a disgusting sexual shit and her voice is much better and song is not plagiarised.
