This entire thread on GGD has some posts. Comes with this "beautiful" GIF image of her. LOL. Madonna gives new teaser! (2014-02-12)- Not here for that, it's not even close, I'd probably even have forgotten about this by then
- I dont really care about Madge tbh
- No one born after the paleolithic age is here for ha
- Tbh, Madonna will always have collaborations on her lead single the rest of her career because she'll flop without them. Next to that, Madonna doesn't care about the music because she doesn't make money from that. She only cares about her tours, because they are what gives her money. Perfume lines and such things help a lot too.
- Bruce Springsteen outgrossed her tour Does that make him relevant again?
- Copying Kanye I see.
This comment was not about her but I agree with it (except for the I like Lamedonna part)! - Wtf! How am I being a bully? You're the one who never posts here after being a member for a year and suddenly only decides to contribute when its in the name of a rival artist. Look, I like Madonna as well so don't even start with me about being some sort of delusional Gaga fan. But more often than not if someone just lurks here and then only contributes in the name of Madonna, thats sketch sorry.
And in regards to your comment about Gaga's stance on love and bullying, her ideals are not my ideals. Liking Gaga doesn't obligate me to be a saint. I don't like her for her "kindness". I like her for her music. Idk why its so hard for people like you to differentiate that than again it only comes into play when its convenient. If you want to go lecture people for being mean on the internet you're going to exhaust yourself because it very much goes beyond this forum and waaaay beyond this fanbase. You might even want to put some of your fellow hardcore Madonna stans in check because their bullying game is ridiculous.
Yes! Just because I like Gaga does not mean I have to beleive what she believes.

Also I don't know what they mean by copying Kanye. I kinda skipped to the last page.

I used to check this site regularly back in the day. I just remembered there was a thread devoted to say M was a liar and a thief of disco. did you hear: Madonna is doing Donna Summer's www.discomusic.com/forums/showthread.php/13169-did-you-hear-Madonna-is-doing-Donna-Summer-sol'skinflint "I Feel Love" on her current tour. Has anyone seen or heard this performance? I guess it will eventually be released on some concert DVD but I was just wondering if anyone had checked out her show and had comments....No way will I pay $150 and put up with 10, 000 screaming teenyboppers to hear that one song... Videoskooter Yes, I heard it! Madonna's newest marketing stunt. Do U remember how a few years ago Miss Fake was telling everybody that the shameless nude posing Erotica-girl was another person and that she had gone spiritual :-) And who has posed in SM-outfits and with her boobies naked in a stable, worshipping horses, very recently for a magazine. Yep, Miss Fake. And people still buy her B-**** :-) Madonna was, is and never will be D.I.S.C.O. Very creative and interesting comment I found here: www.topix.com/forum/who/madonna/TU5ACMCOKTBSIF0EV "Stealing bimbo thief of sloth, Cruel manipulator of clone chicken hawk, The legendary slut of Mr Hand under silk sheets, She stole from the barbarian in the urban ghetto, The poor, hungry and deprived of the black man, She is the molester of young turks in the night, Her clipped eyes bleeding on feathered pillows, Her skinny legs stepping over clown tight stand, Her holes dripping of white lava of horse lust, Blue morning, blue day for the robbed songwriters, Incompetence in unholy dealings of diseased hack, The falcon has flown in angry skies in darkness, The hooded knights of the music industry hunters, Her dangling twisted corn toes curled in flames, Her head hung in the enchanted forest of pine, Her ugly face beaten and bruised by imported fist, Higher in the mountains of blood and sweat, Her sore throat screaming and torn in Paris cold, The grannie haggard of poopy pop is getting old..."

Read this comment by her former fan made on SuperAmanda's listal. ___________________________________________________________________ "In popular music or any art form for that matter, artists will be inspired by other artists. And yes, there will be some copying involved.
But, folks, when it comes to Madonna, the copying is at epic proportions. And while many artists will take an idea that was somebody else's and put their own mark on it; when, it comes to Madonna, she merely does a copy paste.
And before somebody throws rocks at me, please note that you're dealing with a person who was a fan of hers starting in 1983!
But, thanks to the internet, images and music, that were seen for so long as ironically and strictly Madonna's, have been exposed as copies from other people.
Accusations of plagiarism are a normal occurrence in the music industry, but the accusations and lawsuits that Madonna faces are higher than usual. Higher than other recording artists who have experienced similar success. And while she calls Lady Gaga "reductive," she's settling out of court for millions due to behavior that goes well beyond reductive. Sure, Gaga's "Born This Way" sounds similar to "Express Yourself," but at least Gaga put her mark on it and changed it so much that it's unique. In the meantime, the video that promoted "Express Yourself" was a complete copy of Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" (even down to the text on the ending frame)!
SuperAmanda, please don't be surprised by the responses you get from hardcore Madonna fans. Many have been devoted to her for several years. They have spent thousands of their hard-earned money going to her concerts(which each tickets cost a small fortune) and collecting her music memorabilia. That's an enormous emotional investment. So, when you show them proof that Madonna is nowhere near as original as she has claimed to be, it's going to be hard to take.
While, I may continue to listen to Madonna's music from time to time, because, some of it is very enjoyable, I will no longer invest the time and energy in her I once did. And honestly, she's becoming pathetic. What appeared to be an effortless ability to go from trend to trend has now become a desperate and futile attempt to stop aging. It should be noted that Madonna is slowly losing many of her most devoted fans. Many of these fans see the desperation or are simply bored with her; while others have had enough of her indifferent and many times harsh treatment towards fans.
Maybe if Madonna was a nicer and more considerate person who was grateful for her devoted following, it would be easier to forgive her and overlook all of this, but Madonna simply is not a very nice person. And many devoted Madonna are just as ready to excuse this as they will your exhaustive proof. Behavior they wouldn't accept from a normal stranger, they will apologize when it comes to Madonna, their denial is to be expected. They have to come to their own conclusions (just like I did).
But, hey, if they want to continue this support for an artist who seems woefully incapable of having an original idea of her own and who really has very little regard or respect for them, let them. I have better things to do with my time.
In the meantime, just keep posting the proof. The internet may very well may prove to be Madonna's undoing. She's the product of media that had so much control over what people saw and watched. The internet has changed that. Media, in general, is becoming more diffused and more participatory.
You may think that if Whitney Houston hadn't made her mark in the '80s, she'd be alive today. Well, I will say that if Madonna had launched her career in the mid'90s - late '90s, she's be a failure. She's be immediately seen as a poseur and a copycat.
By the way, I'm not a fan of Whitney Houston (never was or never will be). I like Lady Gaga, but I'm nowhere near devoted. I only really like one song of hers, "Poker Face" and I actually think that Trey Parker (while doing the voice of "Eric Cartman" on "South Park" performs it better than she does). So, I'm not defending these two out of devotion. I'm defending them because I don't like hypocrisy and Madonna is a hypocrite. All she's done is accused Gaga of the very things she, herself, as done. Accusing somebody else for doing your same behavior is an ancient-old technique used by the guilty for deflection. But, if you can't suppress the truth, it doesn't work.
Honestly, Madonna should have kept her mouth shut when criticizing "Born This Way," but then again, Madonna can't help herself. She's inadvertently opened a can of worms that she may not be able to contain." _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I'm very happy that even her fans can see the truth of this hypocrite and stop respecting her for the things she does. It's not like that all of her fans are so deluded. Average fan doesn't waste his/her time on stupid fanwars with Little Monsters and other fanbases. It may feel that there are many of such a crazy fans but it's less than it seems, cause they make multiple accounts everywhere. I've never thought that some of her fans can't accept the truth about her and attack every other femle singer because they're devoted to her and spent a lot of money on albums/concerts. I thought they're just bored, sick people who don't have anything to do in life. And I have something in common with the author. Maybe I wasn't a fon of hers but liked a lot of her songs and still like, even more than few months ago however I don't like her as a person and don't respect her.

In the meantime, the video that promoted "Express Yourself" was a complete copy of Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" (even down to the text on the ending frame)! True! I remember a post Paws Down made a long time ago that said Madonna's "interpretation" of the Venus painting was "unique and artistic" even though it was obvious she copied all the elements - imagery and symbolism, from the painting. Or what about the looks she stole was inspired by? If you look at some photos of her and some of Marylin Monroe side-by-side you can't even tell the difference! Very good point. Must explain why most of them are so delusional and won't accept that Madonna is unoriginal. Even though I have my own favorite artists, I know that my favorites aren't original and I'm not delusional enough to deny that. Lol. That must be why she has resorted to adding more popular artists and producers like Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Pharrell, Nicki Minaj, PSY, LMFAO, Kanye West, MIA, Stuart Price, among others to her music. Plus she has name-checked several more popular artists and celebrities like Cher, Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian to get her name in news articles. Excellent point! Great conclusion! This was a great post, coming from a former fan! _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I agree with this author as well. I don't hate all Madonna fans, just the ones who act like idiots. And even then, I don't resort to personally insulting them to get my point across (like so many of them do).

Wanted to watch one of Mylene's videos. I choosed the original version of one of my favourite songs from childhood- Kate Ryean's Désenchantée. What I saw was really shocking. The comments section reminds me one of Lady Gaga's video. I had to divide photo on 2 parts. There are so many comments that on 1 photo it would be impossible to read them due to their size.(the more comments are on photo the smaller font is). The comments of course aren't in the same order as on youtube, I only pasted the anti-madona ones. (this video is from 1991, amazing)
